1955 Design

Based in Rochester, Michigan, 1955 Design has built websites since 2005 for clients that stretch well beyond the Detroit area. Work has included sites for several Catholic churches in the Detroit region, the unlimited hydroplane racing team Miss Madison, the medical practice Naber & Gill MDs, and the Michigan Periodontal Association. Despite the local base, client relationships extend coast to coast.

Every site is built on WordPress with the Genesis Framework, with an emphasis on pages that load quickly and are simple for visitors to navigate. The offering centers on new website design, redesigns of existing sites, and ongoing WordPress hosting, rather than a broad menu of marketing services. All work stays in-house — no part of a project is outsourced outside the United States, so the same hands that scope a site also build it.

The client list reflects a mix of local institutions and niche organizations rather than a single industry focus: religious institutions, a competitive racing team, medical offices, and a professional association all appear among past projects.
