Above Summit is a Somerville, MA production studio founded in 2013 as the first in Boston to specialize in drone work. Its founders came out of architecture, and that background carries into how the studio approaches place, context, light, spatial procession and framing on every shoot. Over the past decade the studio has traveled to work with brands, institutions and productions around the world, building a body of process-driven brand content rather than one-off spots.

Services run from creative concepting and live-action production through editing and post-production, covering brand films, UGC and social video, 3D animation, motion graphics and event production. The studio also operates Somerville Studios, a venue used for photoshoots, video production, meetings, events and workshops, giving productions a home base rather than relying solely on location shoots. Live production capability extends to event work under time pressure, including a relationship with the Red Sox for live broadcast turnaround.
