A Dozen Eggs

Identity, web design and animation for start-ups and national brands

A dozen eggs is a branding studio in Loughborough, Leicestershire, founded in 2010 by Jo and Fran, who met on an Art & Design foundation course at Warwickshire College and started the agency straight after graduating. The studio works with a mix of clients beyond its local base, taking on projects for both ambitious start-ups and established national businesses.

Work centres on brand strategy and positioning, visual identity, website design, animation, rebranding and packaging identity. The team describes itself as designers, developers and illustrators - a small group of creative problem solvers with a spread of expertise rather than a large agency structure. Development is paired with animation used specifically to clarify messaging and explain products or services, alongside flexible design work that adapts to each project's needs.

Portfolio projects include the National Counter Trafficking Centre, Charnwood Brewery, The People Deal and the Centre for Early Mathematics Learning, reflecting the range of sectors the studio has built identities and online experiences for. The consistent thread across these projects is building brands with clear purpose from the ground up, whether that means a fresh identity for a new venture or a rebrand for an existing organisation.
