The product line centres on two platforms: a repairs diagnostics tool launched in 2015 that helps residents self-diagnose issues before a repair request is raised, and a resident portal launched in 2019 for account management and service requests. Housing providers including Sovini, Southern Housing, and Livin have used these products to build tailored customer portals and scale self-service adoption among residents, moving routine transactions away from phone-based contact centres.

Security credentials sit alongside the product work: Active Housing holds ISO 27001 certification and Cyber Essentials accreditation, relevant given the volume of resident data its systems handle. The company picked up recognition at the Property Week Tech Innovation Awards 2025 and the Housing Digital Innovation Awards 2025. In 2023, Active Housing was acquired by Plentific and now operates as a Plentific company, continuing to develop diagnostics and portal products for social landlords.
