Advantec

Advantec has worked on ecommerce and digital projects since founding in Gloucester in 2007, and is now part of the Datadial Ltd group. Its work spans Magento-based online stores, booking systems, and visitor-facing platforms for clients ranging from independent retailers to national charities and tourist attractions.

Services cover CMS platforms and technology, design and user experience, digital marketing and strategy, systems integration and programming, and hosting with technical support. The team includes certified Magento developers, and clients can meet in the London office, online, or since 2023 at a Stroud location in the Cotswolds, alongside the Gloucester Docks headquarters.

Project work has included building a Magento ecommerce site for a handcraft organic mattress maker, developing a mobile and tablet course booking system for the UK's largest charity for parents, re-platforming an audio-visual equipment retailer off an obsolete CMS onto a new system, and creating an integrated ticket-sales and visitor site for a well-known tourist destination.
