AppNiv, based in Cluj-Napoca, builds and supports dedicated Romanian software development teams and R&D centers for companies based abroad. Clients have included HiBob, an Israeli HR tech company running its R&D site in Romania since 2017, and Imubit, an Israeli industrial AI firm that established a Romania-based R&D site in 2025. Other engagements have spanned UK-based Rimo3, an intelligent automation company, and Cloudtag Onitor, a health and fitness tracker business.

Work centers on senior engineers with expertise in backend, frontend, and mobile development, using languages and frameworks including Java, C#, and React. Rather than staffing isolated contractors, AppNiv positions each dedicated team as an integral part of the client's own R&D organization, embedded into existing product and engineering structures.
