Appsky

Founded in Omaha in 2016 by Taylor Korensky, Appsky has grown into a team of more than 15 people building custom mobile and web applications. Work spans full-stack development, UI/UX and graphic design, custom API development and integrations, and prototype or product consulting for clients moving from an early concept toward a working release.

Services cover mobile app development, web app development, cloud infrastructure and DevOps, systems integration, and product discovery and MVP work, often layered together on a single engagement as a product matures. Appsky describes its approach as agile and collaborative, with a focus on outcomes rather than fixed deliverables, letting scope shift as a build moves from prototype to production.

Appsky joined the Maverick Venture Fund's portfolio in 2020, a marker of its growth beyond a small local shop. Two years later, in 2022, the company's owners were named SBA Nebraska Small Business Persons of the Year, recognition tied to Appsky's standing within the Omaha business community.
