Arina Winkelman runs a one-woman web design practice from the south shore of Nova Scotia, working with business and non-profit clients on website design and Shopify store setup. For larger or more complex projects, a network of other professionals is brought in to add specific expertise and capacity, allowing the shop to take on work beyond a single designer's scope.

The approach starts with content rather than visuals: time is spent understanding a client's business, customers, and key messages before design work begins, with colours, graphics, menus, and buttons built to complement that content rather than lead it. Services include website design, Shopify development, content strategy, and conversion copywriting. Client relationships continue after launch, with ongoing support and advice available as needs come up. Arina Winkelman holds a Bachelor of Commerce, an Applied Information Technology Diploma, a Master of Electronic Commerce, and a Master's Certificate in Project Management, and is affiliated with the Bridgewater and Area Chamber of Commerce and the South Queens Chamber of Commerce. Past work includes the Customs House Inn in Pictou, Nova Scotia.
