Founded in 2001, AXIOM builds custom web applications for government agencies and organizations across Montana — including Missoula, Bozeman, Great Falls, Billings, Helena, Kalispell, and Butte — as well as Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Clients include the US Forest Service, National Park Service, USDA EROS Data Center, and roughly 20 state, local, and tribal government organizations, reflecting a practice built around public-sector technology needs.
Work spans full stack design and development for web and browser-based applications, mobile web solutions with interfaces built for mobile workforces, and database design that structures data models for secure, optimized storage and retrieval. Once an application ships, AXIOM provides planned support, maintenance, and enhancement with rapid response for ongoing needs. All of this is handled directly by AXIOM's own staff rather than outsourced, with developers holding computer science degrees and experience across a range of technology stacks.
The agency's standing in the region is reinforced by long-running affiliations: a Microsoft Certified Partner since 2002, a member of the Montana High Tech Business Alliance since 2017, and a participant on the University of Montana Computer Science Department Advisory Board since its inception. AXIOM also sponsored the State of Montana Government IT Conference from 2007 through 2017, underscoring its ties to the public-sector technology community it serves.
