Founded by Joe Mulvey in 1986, Classic Media Productions has served Downers Grove and the western Chicago suburbs as a family-run shop for decades. Early work centered on videotape duplication for area companies, including Frito-Lay and Armour Swift Eckrich, and the business has since grown to handle both media conversion and original video production for businesses, schools, and events. A hospital network client, Alexian Brothers, and a school partnership spanning more than fifteen years point to long-running relationships built on repeat work.

Services split between transferring old formats and producing new ones. On the transfer side, the team converts tapes, film reels (8mm, Super 8, 16mm), slides, prints, and cassettes to digital, along with photo slideshows and disc duplication. On the production side, work runs script to final cut for local organizations. All of it happens by appointment, with materials handled in person rather than mailed.
