Founded in 2008 by Mary Canady, Comprendia is a life science consulting firm based in Sorrento Valley, San Diego, close to the cluster of biotech companies in the area and a short drive from Carlsbad, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Clients range from small biotech startups to larger life science brands, including companies that supply reagents and services for drug discovery and basic research. The firm positions its work around a foundation in scientific marketing principles and experience working directly with researchers, rather than generic marketing tactics applied to a scientific audience.
