Founded in 2011 by the first person in the world to earn Google's Ads Pro certification, Converted began as a pure traffic-generation shop before expanding into conversion work. Operating from Sheffield in the north and King's Cross in London, the agency now works with b2c businesses across ecommerce, lead generation, and charity sectors, splitting its work between attracting visitors and converting them.

On the attraction side, services cover PPC, paid social, and SEO, including content SEO and ecommerce SEO. On the conversion side, Converted runs CRO research and testing alongside landing page design and website design, and has built its own CRO Test Significance Calculator and CRO Test Duration Calculator to support that testing process.

Case examples on the site show this approach applied: CRO research and testing produced wins for a B2B manufacturer, while a footwear brand had its marketing strategy and website experience reshaped following CRO research. A fashion retailer received a new website alongside performance improvements. Converted also won a Digital Impact Award in 2018 for best digital campaign and strategy in the Education sector.
