CR Marketing provides PR and marketing services to businesses, state and national associations, government agencies and non-profits, with a client history that includes 26 years of work for propane organizations across the country. Recent projects include an Autogas video produced with officials from the State of Michigan and the State of Ohio. Based in East Lansing, Michigan, the firm builds its media relations work on a news media background it describes as spanning 28 years.

Work moves through in-house video, web development, photography and graphic design, a combination the firm says is uncommon among Midwest agencies. Commercials are shot for clients in seven states at the East Lansing headquarters, where a video and photography studio was recently added onto the office. Digital marketing efforts tie a client's website, Google and Apple map listings, email newsletters and social media posts together into a single coordinated push meant to drive sales. Media relations work centers on developing news items around topics of public interest and distributing them through traditional print and broadcast outlets.

Kathy Schaefer, owner and partner, oversees client projects and communications, while Joe Ross serves as creative director over film, print and web media. The firm's news division, CR News, has been invited to broadcast from a Facebook corporate event and was selected by Google to cover a business expo.
