Much of the work centers on public information and outreach tied to land use and infrastructure decisions. Commonwealth Consultants has helped clients secure site and zoning approvals and has provided public relations support on some of the region's largest transportation projects. It built a public relations and community outreach program behind the redevelopment plans for Tysons Corner Center, and in 2005 was retained by a major project to develop and execute its public information plan, coordinating messaging with community and government stakeholders throughout.
