Dark Bears builds custom software, mobile applications, and enterprise systems, with additional work in Internet of Things and artificial intelligence projects. Client work spans real estate and property, education, on-demand services, social networking, healthcare, food and restaurant, banking and finance, gaming and leisure, events and ticketing, transport, ecommerce, retail and B2B, and travel and hospitality.

Engagement runs through three models: hiring dedicated engineers directly, project-based arrangements covering both time-and-material and fixed-cost contracts, and a Build-Operate-Transfer model for clients who want a team stood up and later transferred in-house. Work covers frontend, backend, mobile, database, cloud and DevOps, and ecommerce and CMS layers, letting a single engagement move from interface to infrastructure without switching vendors.

On the technical side, frontend and backend work draws on React JS, Angular, JavaScript, CSS3, Node.js, PHP, Python, and Express. Mobile builds cover Android, iOS, Flutter, Ionic, and React Native. Data layers include SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, DynamoDB, SQLite, and Firebase, while application frameworks extend to Laravel, CodeIgniter, MEAN, CakePHP, and Django, supported by Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for deployment. Cloud work runs on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, and ecommerce builds are delivered on WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, and WordPress.
