Founded by Dovelyn Duarte in July 2015, DAS Hawaii runs a 24/7 urgent call center that handles after-hours calls for medical groups and other business clients. Incoming calls go to a live communications agent rather than an automated system, keeping the tele-messaging service staffed around the clock.

Messages reach clients via SMS or email, and call confirmation is included so providers can verify that urgent calls were received and logged. Medical groups adding a new provider to the service pay a one-time $50 administration fee per provider.
