Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation (DESC) serves as the official workforce agency for the City of Detroit, operating within the Michigan Works Agency network. As the lead agency for 'Detroit at Work,' DESC provides job placement, search, training, career advisement, and other supportive services to thousands of Detroiters annually.

DESC offers a range of services to both employers and jobseekers. For employers, DESC assists in recruiting talent and training staff, while jobseekers can access jobs, training, and supportive services through the 'Detroit at Work' platform. The organization also operates nine career centers throughout Detroit, providing resources and support to the local community.

With a focus on creating generational wealth and improving employment outcomes, DESC has successfully placed thousands of jobs and served tens of thousands of residents. Their efforts have resulted in significant community projects, such as the Detroit Assembly Complex, which has provided job offers to over 4,100 residents.
