Eckman Design

Eckman Design works with companies trying to figure out where AI actually helps rather than where it just looks impressive. The practice centers on AI automation, custom software, and advisory work for businesses applying AI to operations, customer service, and internal workflows, with an explicit focus on separating useful applications from interesting demos.

Services run from AI opportunity and readiness audits through workflow design, integration, rollout, and iteration. Much of the delivered work is lightweight software built for specific repeatable processes: intake, routing, reporting, review, and customer support are named use cases. The approach is described in three steps: map the process, design the system, prove it works.

A recurring theme in the notes is that the harder problem isn't building a working AI demo but getting a system into production and adopted. Eckman Design treats adoption as part of the deliverable rather than an afterthought, positioning the work around systems built to fit around processes a business already depends on rather than technology introduced for its own sake.
