Evolv Design

Evolv Design is run by two people, Patrick and Lisa McCarty, out of Norfolk, Virginia. Patrick has worked as a graphic designer for more than 35 years and handles the web and print material design directly; Lisa, who holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, works on the marketing plans and ideas behind that material. The studio's stated aim is to create materials that influence an audience and further a client's mission, framing the work as helping clients' marketing and design objectives move forward.

Work spans website design and development, print design and development, and brand design and development, including identity design and brand standards systems. On the print side, the studio produces annual reports, brochures, and corporate communications. Digital work is built around making the experience easily understandable for the people using it. With Patrick overseeing design execution and Lisa shaping the marketing strategy behind it, the two-person structure keeps design and marketing planning under one roof rather than split across departments.
