Development work at Apps People spans Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, with the studio founded in 2010 to take mobile products from initial idea through to design and development rather than stepping in only once a build is scoped. A design thinking methodology runs through the concept and prototyping stages, shaping how each product moves from sketch to working app.

The service list covers UX research, wireframing and interaction design ahead of any coding, followed by usability testing and mobile app testing once a build is underway. iOS apps are engineered against Apple's current best practices, while Android work is handled by native Kotlin or Flutter engineers, with the choice of stack matched to the project rather than fixed in advance. That split lets platform conventions guide the toolkit instead of forcing one approach across both operating systems.

Past projects point to a comfort with early-stage products: Feedmee and Ads on Wheels were both accepted into Muru-D's Plus Eight accelerator, and Foody Bag was interviewed on Channel 9 News. Everythere won a Design 100 Silver Award. Together these outcomes show a practice that has worked with founders chasing accelerator places and media attention, alongside the ongoing cycle of design, build and testing that makes up the core of the studio's day-to-day work.
