Fotochrome Design is a media production firm based in Richmond, Virginia, founded in 2016 by Jack Roebuck and Will Paxton. Roebuck works as Director of Photography and Paxton as Creative Director, and together they have produced video and animation for clients ranging from museums, schools, and artists to corporate and tech organizations, including McKinnon and Harris, Babylon Micro-Farms, VMHC, Kiski School, Workpath, Clean Virginia, Christchurch School, and CK Bosworth.
Work spans brand films, explainer videos, product demos, motion graphics, 3D animation, live-action production, and editing and post-production. For Christchurch School, the firm produced a series of short pre-roll videos, while for Workpath it built clean animations to illustrate complex processes. Fotochrome Design also produced video coverage of the Arthur Ashe Commemoration event, adding live-event documentation to its studio-based animation and motion graphics output.
