Film and music video roots turned brand films, campaigns, and content systems

Music videos and film work, not advertising, gave Ghost Robot its starting point, and that lineage still runs through campaigns made since around 2002 under the line Building other worlds. Two decades in, the agency describes its job as finding the thing a brand didn't know it was sitting on, then taking that idea from concept through completion. Client work has included Airbnb, KFC, Google, Netflix, and Peloton, alongside music and culture projects tied to Red Bull Music Academy and Björk.

The range covers film, photography, experiences, campaigns, and content systems, produced through creative concepting, scriptwriting and storyboarding, live-action production, and editing and post-production. Brand films and explainer videos sit next to social content production and full brand campaigns, with projects carried through from idea to finished piece rather than split across separate vendors.

Airbnb Host Stories, KFC x Beyond Meat's Kentucky Fried Miracle, and Google Career Certificates' Epic Career Quest each pair a brand message with a produced narrative. Netflix Games for Everyone and Peloton Homecoming extend that into product and community storytelling, while Red Bull Music Academy's Disco Demolition and The Black Keys' Dropout Boogie reflect the agency's music-video roots. A Björk feature film, Wanderlust, and the Creative Control project point toward longer-form output, and a Brooklyn Brewery project called Special Effects rounds out a list of work that moves between advertising, culture, and entertainment.

That score is higher than 83% of the 36,919 agencies Agency List has assessed so far.

The Agency List Score measures how well an agency documents its work in public: named clients, quantified outcomes, and whether those outcomes are attributed to the agency rather than to the client.

It does not measure client satisfaction, price, or availability.
