Intake Studios

Intake Studios provides production, post-production, animation, and other creative services out of Kansas City, working with marketing departments, independent businesses, entertainment studios, and agencies. Rather than specializing in a single format, the studio moves across motion graphics, live-action production, and editorial work depending on what a client's project calls for.

Work spans motion graphics, design, animation, cinematography, editorial, color grading, visual effects, and compositing, allowing projects to move from concept through final delivery under one roof. That range suits clients who need a spot conceived, shot, animated, and finished without coordinating separate vendors for each stage.

Since 2015, Intake Studios has partnered with AMC Theatres to produce the branded pre-show content that runs in theaters between the published start time and the featured film — content AMC uses to introduce new programs, technology, and concession and auditorium benefits to an audience numbering in the hundreds of millions each year. The most recent installment, released in summer 2024, draws on the studio's 3D animation, VFX, and compositing work to build out that pre-show experience. The AMC relationship illustrates the kind of long-running, high-visibility account the studio's combined production and post-production capabilities are built to support.
