Kevllar

Founded by Kevin La and based in Markham, Ontario, Kevllar builds websites for companies in the Toronto area and handles the marketing that runs alongside them. Web design and development are treated as a single process here, with developers using coding and programming work to make sure a site functions the way it was designed to look, rather than treating design and build as separate stages. Branding work runs in parallel with the technical side rather than as an add-on service.

On the marketing front, Kevllar runs search engine optimization aimed at raising a site's Google ranking and traffic, plus SEM and PPC campaigns that target specific audiences with ads meant to bring in traffic quickly. Hosting is built on WordPress, and technical SEO ties into the same development pipeline used for design and build-out.

After a site launches, Kevllar offers what it calls 360 Degree Website Support, which covers back-up and technical support, hosting and domain transfers, security, and Expression Engine Customization and Support. That support layer is meant to carry a website through its maintenance lifecycle rather than ending once a project ships, giving clients one contact for technical issues that come up after launch.
