Mirumee

Mirumee builds custom software and e-commerce platforms for clients ranging from luxury watchmaker Breitling, which turned to the studio to redefine its global e-commerce platform, to Butterfly, a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation-funded venture behind a portable ultrasound scanner. Lulu, founded by Red Hat's Bob Young, relies on Mirumee for its custom book printing and Print-On-Demand network, while Spaya's AI-driven retrosynthetic route platform for molecular chemistry draws on the same engineering approach.

Work centers on a stack the team knows deeply: Python and Django for API-first backend architectures, React and TypeScript for component-driven frontend and mobile interfaces, and AWS-based cloud infrastructure paired with CI/CD pipelines. Projects span application development, systems integration, microservices, headless CMS builds, and custom e-commerce setups on platforms including Saleor.io and Shopify, built for organizations with demanding technical and scale requirements.

Mirumee originated Saleor Commerce, now established as an advanced headless e-commerce platform, and maintains a growing Python library for building GraphQL servers using a schema-first approach. Founded in 2009 in Wrocław, Poland, the studio has spent more than 15 years contributing to open-source projects alongside its client work, a track record that shapes how it approaches architecture and platform choices for commercial builds.
