s-t-a-t-e, registered as State Productions GmbH on Körnerstraße in Berlin, works as an independent studio on strategy, technology, and design for clients it chooses to believe in. The studio pairs thorough analysis with clear aesthetics, building brand identities and digital products on what it calls a future-proof tech stack, and describes its process as close, intimate dialogue with clients on eye-level rather than layered account management. Services cover brand strategy and positioning, rebranding, visual identity, website design, UX research, and interaction design.

One documented project is Deutsches Theater, an internationally acclaimed institution, for which s-t-a-t-e reshaped the visual identity and developed the corporate identity, editorial design, and art direction of imagery from the ground up.
