1985 Software Solutions works with funded SaaS and marketplace founders who need a senior, India-based product team rather than a junior outsourcing shop. Founded in 2011 by Prakash Raman and Sharath Shambu, the Bangalore company has built products across finance, healthcare, lifestyle, media, and marketplace sectors, positioning its work around taking an idea to a working MVP within 90 days.

The team, now more than 20 professionals spread across three continents, covers web development, mobile app development, custom software development, AI integration, cloud solutions, and ongoing maintenance and support. Operations shifted to fully remote in 2020, a change that has shaped how the distributed squads coordinate with founders on early-stage and growth-stage products since.

Early milestones trace the firm's build-out: an e-commerce web app for an international footwear brand entering the Indian market, and iOS and Android apps for its first VC-funded Indian client. In 2023, the company shipped its first AI-integrated product, extending its stack beyond web and mobile into applied AI work. Named projects include EMOD Safety, a construction safety management platform spanning web and iOS; Grape, a fashion discovery app; and ScoopWhoop, a news and entertainment product, reflecting the mix of safety, lifestyle, and media clients the studio has taken from concept through to shipped software.
