Six Half Dozen Creative Studio

Ben Roberts founded Six Half Dozen in Alexandria, VA in 2007, building a studio that works with trade associations, corporations, small businesses, publications, and nonprofits and charities. Much of the work centers on associations specifically, translating an organization's value into a look, message, and set of visuals a broader audience can recognize.

The studio's services move from brand strategy and positioning into visual identity, messaging and voice, and brand guidelines, then into video production, motion, editing and post-production, and live-action shoots. An in-house studio supports the video work, capturing a range of content types, and the space is also available for rent to outside productions. Website design and marketing collateral round out the offering, with staff working directly on ad content and direction rather than only strategy documents.

Recent work includes creative produced for the 2026 Sea Air Space Expo, reflecting the association-facing projects the studio takes on. Between brand development and video capabilities under one roof, the range covers a client's identity from initial positioning through the finished assets used to communicate it.
