Sound Ideas is a family-owned audiovisual production company that has served Texas for more than 35 years, founded by Doug Thompson and grown from a two-person operation into a dedicated team of AV specialists. Work spans corporate town halls, conferences, galas, fundraisers, and hybrid meetings, with the company acting as a backstage partner to venues and agencies that need sound, video, and lighting handled on-site.

Services include sound systems, high-definition projectors, screens and monitors, and staging and lighting built to set the atmosphere for an event. For fundraisers and galas, Sound Ideas also supplies power and equipment for exhibitor booths. Recording and live streaming run on dedicated equipment, and hybrid meeting support combines audio, lighting, and video into one production. Live support staff stay on-site during events to manage AV needs as they come up, from setup through teardown.
