State Creative

State Creative builds and maintains websites for eCommerce companies, financial and professional services firms, schools, and non-profits from its Oakland office on Clay Street. Founded in 2010, the studio works in WordPress and Drupal, drawing on more than 15 years of experience across those sectors to shape sites meant to build trust and tell an organization's story rather than function as a one-time launch.

Work moves from website design or redesign into frontend and backend development, then into an ongoing maintenance platform that keeps sites hosted and secured with WAF protection after launch. Rather than handing off a finished site and stepping away, the studio stays on for hosting, security, and support, treating the technical upkeep as part of what makes a site continue to perform.

Aron Scarinzi Lastraioli founded the studio and serves as Creative Director, working alongside Managing Partner Garrett Goldman and Lead Developer Vijish Kumar. State Creative states that clients typically see more traffic, clicks, and sales within a year of a new site going live, a result it attributes to combining design and development with the maintenance and security work that follows launch.
