Canopas was founded in 2012 by childhood friends Darpan and Jignesh, and the studio builds mobile and web applications alongside custom software and UI/UX design work. Client projects span a wide range of purposes, from Justly, an app addressing loneliness and mental health, to Togness, a photo editor and slideshow maker for personal milestones, Luxe Radio, a platform showcasing Moroccan and international music and culture, and Smile+, an AI-driven tool that helps dentists plan smile designs for patients.

Work covers iOS and Android development, cross-platform builds, backend and API development, QA and testing, systems integration, and ongoing maintenance and updates.
