4EightyEast is a creative design studio based in the Metro Phoenix area, working out of Chandler, Arizona, on projects that span brand design, website design, and custom development. The studio's work is carried out by Mark Martinez, handling design and development, and Jeff Shaikh, handling programming and development, giving clients a small team responsible for both the visual and technical sides of a project.
On the brand side, the studio takes on brand evaluation, name development, and logo design and corporate identity work before moving into responsive website design. Development is built on clean HTML5, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, with CMS development and mobile-ready sites as standard parts of the build, and search engine optimization folded into the process rather than treated as an add-on.
Beyond front-end design, 4EightyEast handles web application development, database design and integration, and ecommerce solutions for clients that need more than a brochure site. Backend integration with existing systems is also part of the offering, allowing new websites or applications to connect into whatever a client already has running rather than replacing it outright.
