Work Counter Design

Counter Design Studio works out of Toronto as a user experience studio building web and mobile products across a range of industries. Its project list includes four immersive exhibits developed with the Ontario Science Centre, a wine ecommerce site built around detailed but essential wine facts, an HR platform designed to assess strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities, and a behavioral science and AI-driven SaaS platform for enterprise organizations. A mobile app for daily check-ins and journaling and a series of technical installation manuals with 3D renderings round out the range of work.

Services span UX research and heuristics, wireframing, interaction design, and usability testing, paired with frontend and backend development and Shopify development for ecommerce builds. The studio maps out and designs features meant to reflect the essence of a client's product rather than applying a fixed template, and describes its maintenance approach as simple and worry-free once a product ships.
