Scimus

Scimus works as an outsourcing partner for custom software, taking on projects for companies in healthcare, adtech, eCommerce, and entertainment from its Wilmington, Delaware base since 2014. The premise centers on scaling engineering capacity without the overhead of hiring and onboarding an in-house team, whether that means adding developers to an existing roadmap or building a product from scratch.

The service list covers web development, iOS and Android builds, and cross-platform apps aimed at turning ideas into mobile experiences people keep using. Data services take client information and turn it into insights meant to support business decisions, while quality assurance is treated as a running part of each development initiative rather than a final step before launch. Application maintenance and support keep systems running post-launch, and systems integration ties new builds into a client's existing infrastructure — relevant for the healthcare and adtech work that makes up part of the client base. Technology consulting rounds out the offering, focused on architecture and delivery direction rather than one-off recommendations.
