CTO Services, LLC works with vending and connectivity businesses that need part-time CTO help, C-level strategy, and custom software or hardware built around Internet of Things (IoT) and M2M technology. Based out of Boston, Massachusetts and established in 2008, the firm is headed by Glenn Butler, a founder and entrepreneur who has built a career around cashless, connectivity, and point-of-sale technology for the vending industry.

Work centers on software design and development, systems integration, and network and platform management, alongside data engineering pipelines and security and WAF implementation. A recurring focus is turnkey PCI-compliant credit card and EVP/Chip processing, paired with Android-based point-of-sale systems and POS component solutions built for both emerging and established companies. Vending industry consulting rounds out the offering, drawing on hands-on experience with cashless and hardware integration challenges specific to that sector.

Butler's track record includes serving as Rapport Partner and Part Time CTO, and co-founding VendScreen as CTO before the company was acquired. He also holds advisory roles with Acoustic Stream, Cooler Connect, and Gimme, giving CTO Services, LLC direct exposure to how connectivity and cashless technology plays out across multiple vending and POS-focused companies rather than theoretical consulting alone.
